The Bible is at the heart of Christian Science practice, and its "inspired Word" is our first religious tenet. 

 

Students of Christian Science read a weekly Bible Lesson published in the Christian Science Quarterly. There are 26 subjects which repeat twice a year and explore the nature of God, the healing and redeeming power of the Christ, and our spiritual identity as the children of God. Each week, there are new passages from the Bible and Science and Health to study and apply to issues people face every day—from sickness and injury to financial problems, unhappy relationships, and many more. You may view a sample Bible Lesson here.

This Bible Lesson is studied daily and individually. Then it is read in our branch church congregations as our sermon on Sunday. 

 

Each Christian Science Church has a Reading Room with Bibles and reference materials for your quiet study. These are places for you to freely use, not for us to convert you. We offer full access to our teachings in the hope that you will find something here to enrich your own spiritual life.
