Lorenzo F. Rodriguez is a member of the Christian Science Board of Lectureship. He left his native Cuba while a teenager and moved to Mexico before arriving in the United States. He has conducted services in English and Spanish and currently works as a practitioner and teacher of Christian Science healing. During the Gulf Oil Spill, he quickly came to the aid of our local communities in presenting the lecture below:

Guest speakers have led discussions at our Time for Thinkers Book Club. Members are reading books of the Bible, Bible history books, books written by Mary Baker Eddy, biographies of Eddy, histories of the Christian Science Church and its publications, and similar literature. During his stay in New Orleans, Alex generously donated his time and artistic talent to paint murals in one of our local elementary schools.
